Las Vegas, NV

We decided on a whim to stop in Las Vegas, NV after we left the Grand Canyon. Good and bad decision lol.

The good was going to see the most whimsical comedian/juggler, Jeff Civillico (Comedy in Action) at the Paris Las Vegas. I haven’t laughed that hard in years! He is definitely a must see if you’re in Vegas! He got into juggling when he was a 11 years old after seeing a street performer in Boston and has learned many awesome tricks since then. We got to see him balance a conference room chair, and even a tall folding step ladder on just his chin!!!

He interacts with the audience the entire time and even gets them involved with some of his acts. It’s a family friendly show, so make sure to bring the kids! One of the most comedic parts to me is the picking of the wedgie, his “signature” move. It’s even on his shirts so you know we had to get one and have it autographed!

His show is very memorable and we will for sure be back to see him next time were in Vegas!

Now onto the bad…

Since we have our dogs and were going out for the evening on the town, we wanted to stay in a pet friendly hotel/motel so they had some space to stretch their legs. We found a motel 6 that still had availability so we booked it for 2 days and purchased tickets to 2 shows, one for each day. Let me just say, be very weary when staying at dog friendly hotels/motels. Obviously some places clean better than others and this Motel 6 wasn’t one of them. While the room seemed to look great on the surface, it was obviously infested with roaches! Yes, freaking roaches! So we ended up just staying one day and got the heck out of dodge. The manager didn’t even seem concerned which leads me to think he may have knew about the problem before hand.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Stan the Wandering Van decided to start gushing oil on us as we were leaving so we had to pull into a service place, Tire Works Total Car Care, to get some work done! After about 5.5 hours they had Stan ready to roll and we were on our way! If you need work done in Vegas, hit them up!

Unfortunately every day cant be all sunshine, rainbows and adventures lol but it’s always good to have a “work/relax” day in between travels and they we’re able to fix our issue promptly so we we’re complaining.

This was our 2nd time to Vegas and we will for sure be going back!
